Funding your Research and Development
Whether arguing for in-house investment within a company, submitting a research grant application or seeking venture funding for a startup, many fields of postgraduate activity require the crucial ability to make a reasoned financial case for support.
New academics and entrepreneurial company founders often find difficulties in making effective funding applications. This workshop describes some best practice and provides an opportunity for participants to write, and receive feedback on, an example application based on their own work.
