Career Acceleration Service

We recently celebrated our 50th ScotSkills training event, and we're proud to announce that over 1000 participants have now received some form of our mentoring, creativity and entrepreneurship support.

Beyond the theory of how to get into business, we're constantly being asked about how to dig in and actually start making money. Often the questions come from new entrepreneurs who've tried the usual box-ticking agencies or unmotivated bureaucrats and found that they didn't help them generate income.

ScotSkills are therefore offering to follow up our other events with a Career Acceleration service. This involves helping you decide what you want to do, and then introducing you to relevant opportunities, including:

  • targetted business leaders, to get you a much better job
  • client companies, to whom you can sell advanced project work
  • business angels, to help organise funding for your new business
  • licencees, to invest in your IP
  • expert advisers, to help in making funding applications

Unlike the free, pre-commercial mentoring we undertake, users of the Career Acceleration service are each charged £50 to enrol. In return for this, we provide advice about upgrading your CV, at least one relevant introduction and invitations to specialist networking and coaching events.

We can't guarantee you success in business, but we will do our utmost to help you make the next jump in your entrepreneurial career. We have a reputation for outstanding customer service and creativity, so get in touch today at patrick@scotskills.com.
